Sponsoring a child is the best way one can ensure that these children at Mission Santa Maria will continue to receive the care they need in a safe, loving atmosphere.
In order to continue the amazing work of the mission for these children, they need financial help.
The cost of supporting a child at the mission is $80 per month.
$50 is the monthly cost of the food, housing, clothes, medical care, etc. for each child, the biggest expense being food.
The remaining $30 is for the education of the children.
This will include monthly tuition, school supplies, books, and uniforms.

Your gift of $30 per month enables a child to attend the mission school.
These children come here mainly because they have no other family members to care for them.
Many come from physically or sexually abusive situations.
They arrive at the mission broken, where they receive food, schooling, a house, psychological help, and routine medical care.
But they are mostly healed through the love of the missionary sisters that care for them.
Over time, they begin to smile again and to laugh.
At Mission Santa Maria they recover their dignity and are given a new hope through the education and compassionate care they receive.
It is through your sponsorship that this new hope is made a reality.
General Fund
All projects we have completed at the mission are funded through the General Fund.
Through these projects we aim at improving the lives of the children.
This past year we put in new floors in two houses with the youngest children.
We also completed our "Clean Water" project, bought clothes for the children at Christmas and bought uniforms for 100 children.
We are hoping to do even more for the children and our goal for the General Fund this year is $60,000.
